Motion in Architecture

After studying various iterations that explore the juxtaposition of stillness and motion in the human body, a final form was derived through an analysis of different modules. These iterations were compared, refined, and molded to reveal their potential as spatial forms, with the possibility of being deployed in urban environments. The research examines how principles from dance, particularly choreographed movement, can inform architectural composition. By translating the fluidity of human motion into pre-defined three-dimensional objects, the project reimagines how space can be crafted, replacing human body parts with architectural elements, thereby creating a new dialogue between movement and built form.
